Why I love photoshop...

After yesterday’s photo moment debacle I scrambled to find 2 images in my camera that were hopefully a teensy bit salvageable for our Fashion Feature, I kept looking at this photo:
Obviously it doesn’t display his fashion by any means and it’s a mess, I didn’t fire my flash and everything is just off, but something about it kept calling me. So late last night I decided to give it a try and with the wonders of Photoshop – poof! A super cute, textured picture. I love Photoshop.

Friday's Fashion Feature!

Hello! It's been a crazy busy week, whew, I can hardly believe it's Friday. Greyson was in no mood to have his photo taken today, but we did the best we could. We also decided to get his hair cut this week, and decided to stop trying to fight the cowlick, so we're attempting to go with it. Not 100% sure on how I feel about it. I really liked the lady who cut it though and she has some cute ideas for growing it out and working with the cowlick so maybe as it grows out a bit, I'll be happier with it.

Dance

Early this morning Greyson and I stripped the beds and got ready for fresh sheets, but before the fresh sheets could be put on the beds, there needed to be… a dance off! Yes that’s right; a bed with out sheets is our version of a bouncy dance floor.

Rock Star!

Okay, Okay, this is the last picture from this series - I promise!! I have to share this one though, because it's just too hilarious!

This is Greyson playing the Air Guitar when I asked him to show me "rock star"!! I swear this child just gets funnier and funnier by the minute!

Another funny to note:

This morning after an unusually huge yawn from Greyson he said to me, "Momma look my yawns all gone! See!!" and then proceeded to hold his mouth wide open so I could "see" that his yawn was in fact, gone. I love this age, it's a riot!

My Boys…

One of the best things about summer is that the light stretches out until bed time, and after dinner Greg and Greyson can go outside to play. My boys head out most every evening, from inside I can hear their laughs, Greyson’s squeals of delight and every once in awhile I can catch bits and pieces of their conversations as they sit out on the front walk, usually sharing a bottle of water, cooling down after running in the balmy evening air. Last night I looked out the front windows to catch them like that, sitting together, Greyson jabbering about anything and everything, Greg laughing along. It ended up turning into one of the cutest and most fun photo sessions I’ve ever done. There are a TON of pictures from last night to share, but here are a couple of my favorites for now. More to come through out the week I’m sure.

Last week Greyson asked for a cookie, “Cookie Momma, Please?” I was happy that he said please, but I also knew that it was high time he was taught the correct way to ask for things. I guess I’ve been a bit lazy in requiring him to speak properly. He waited so long to actually start talking that we kind of let most things slide, and let’s face it, we really are not the most proper family in the world! I’m sure any English professor would have a stroke reading through my blog entries! However, I figure we’ll attempt to give Greyson a fighting chance. So, the term “May I” was introduced, and to my extreme delight was well received!

This morning I heard “Mommy, may I watch Wiggles in big bed… please?”

I had no idea if Greyson would cooperate for what I had in mind when I decided to do this photo shoot, but he well exceeded my expectations!! Seeing as how he's never watched Batman (or any Super Hero show for that matter!) I thought he mimicked mommy's moves pretty well! Now the hope is that he doesn't try to karate kick and chop for the rest of the day!!

Ahhhh... Summer.

Back yard fun at it's best always includes a little sprinkler action!

Fun in the Rain (er... I mean fake rain via sprinkler...)!!

For the past couple of weeks this rain coat, hat and umbrella have been staring at me, just waiting to be photographed - and it has not rained, not a single drop. So today, I made the rain! I'm sure Florida rainy days are on their way, and I have the most perfect location picked out for when it does come to pass, but for now - these will have to do. Plus, I'll have time to find matching rain boots!

My favorite out-take of all time...

Looking through today's pictures, I stumbled upon this one, it's a little blurry and the original un-cropped version looked terrible, but with a little photoshop magic, I absolutely love it. He looks so little with chubby cheeks and big inquiring eyes. I love these toddler days and wouldn't trade them for the world, but some days, I miss my baby....
